Sheilah Kawira

I’m a recent clinical officer graduate with a background in clinical medicine and community health, and I’m drawn to health informatics and analytics. I combine hands-on clinical understanding with a writing mindset to help translate real patient and health insights into clear, usable content.

During my clinical officer intern experience, I worked across internal medicine, surgery, reproductive health, paediatrics, and community health. I strengthened my approach to clinical patient bedside and followup management, patient history, investigations, treatment planning, and clear report documentation.

Alongside clinical training, I’ve been self-employed as a medical writer and publisher. I focus on medical writing, narrative medicine, and publishing using platforms like Substack, Medium, and Contently, bringing structure, empathy, and accuracy to health-related storytelling and information.
