Shashank Srivastava

I am an aspiring physicist currently pursuing my Master of Science in Physics at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi. With a solid foundation in both theoretical and experimental physics, I have developed a keen interest in quantum physics and quantum computing. My academic journey has been marked by a strong performance, achieving a CGPA of 9.22 during my Bachelor of Science at SRM Institute of Science and Technology.

My research experience includes winning the First Prize for a poster presentation at Sci-Connect 2023, where I explored the tuning of temporal coherence length of laser light through variable colloidal scattering mediums. Additionally, I demonstrated a project at the Anveshan Student Research Convention, verifying the dependence of scattering strength on temporal coherence. These experiences have not only honed my research skills but also ignited my passion for contributing to cutting-edge research in the field.

Beyond academics, I actively participate in university physics and research clubs, and I am involved in outreach programs aimed at enhancing physics education. My technical skills extend to mobile hardware and software repair, where I am proficient in diagnostics and soldering. I also have experience with the Android Open Source Project and possess basic knowledge in cybersecurity. I am eager to leverage my skills and knowledge in a summer research internship that will allow me to contribute meaningfully to innovative projects.
