What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can lead accounting work, strengthen internal controls, and drive accurate monthly reporting and audits. I want a team that values detail, compliance, and continuous process improvement through clear recommendations.

I’m a detail-oriented Accountant and team leader with a sound understanding of accounting principles and standards. I bring hands-on experience across inventory and its management, plus a strong command of financial analysis and financial audit procedures to uncover irregularities and keep reporting accurate.

In my current role as Chief Accountant, I approve payments and weekly payroll, prepare monthly payroll, review and amend internal controls, check and posting bills on accounting entries, and prepare monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports. I also collaborate with auditors and banks, review reconciliation and fixed assets, sign cheques and check daily lodgments and receipts, and delegate, direct, and lead the accounting department.
