Shaheen Tabassum

I am an efficient, motivated educator with a responsible and caring attitude, driven by a passion for child development. I bring strong communication skills and enjoy easily interacting with students, parents, and staff to support meaningful learning.

I have worked as a teacher since July 2018, including roles at Blue Bells English High School (CBSE) and currently at Ahsien International School (March 2021 to till date). I taught Social Studies and English to students in grades 5 to 7, using varied instructional strategies to provide equity and excellence for all ability levels.

I adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests. I supplement presentations with computers and audiovisual aids, encourage and monitor individual progress, and prepare regular quizzes and tests to track major student progress.

I also guide and counsel students with academic problems, prepare reports on students and activities as required, and meet with other professionals to discuss individual needs and progress. During lockdown, I motivated students to stay on track, and I prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help while maintaining effective communications with all available resources.
