At Kia Canada, I lead month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly reporting schedules. I also deliver P&L and budget variance analysis to headquarters, helping support strategic decisions and financial performance.

I prepare tax accounts across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, collaborate with external tax advisors, and assist with financial statements, audits, and regulatory compliance. I oversee Accounts Payable personnel and contribute to operating-expense budgeting through consolidated reporting and management presentations.

Previously at CIBC Mellon, I progressed from Fund Accountant to Senior Fund Accountant. I served as a client and internal-team contact for fund valuation issues, reviewed mutual fund transactions and cash activity, and verified NAV impacts, corporate actions, and price variances.

I'm a CPA Candidate with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Toronto Mississauga, bringing hands-on experience with Excel, SAP, S/4 HANA, and Concur.
