Analytical Energy Engineer with strong problem-solving skills, a deep passion for leadership, adaptable, and always eager to grow.
What I'm looking for
I am an Energy Engineer from the University of Medellín, with over 4 years of professional experience spanning electrical engineering, energy management, and renewable energy project development. My career has taken me from hands-on electrical installations and internal audits at Unión Eléctrica S.A., to leading energy-saving initiatives for industrial and commercial clients at Azimut Energía, where I currently serve as Energy Management Director managing a client portfolio generating $550M/year in revenue.
I specialize in identifying and implementing energy efficiency opportunities across HVAC systems, photovoltaic solar energy, reactive energy and lighting, solar thermal energy, and industrial production optimization. I hold a C1 IELTS English certification and have complementary training in solar energy systems (University of Buffalo, Coursera), Microsoft Project, and Power BI.
Beyond the technical side, I have a deep talent for leadership and teaching — I spent 3.5 years as an adjunct professor at the University of Medellín in Mass & Energy Balances and Heat Transfer labs. I am analytical, committed, and highly resourceful, with a positive attitude that allows me to quickly master new skills. I thrive in collaborative environments and am passionate about driving the energy transition through smart, data-driven solutions.
