What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role in pharmaceutical process development or process safety where I can apply calorimetry and inline crystallization monitoring to improve scale-up decisions, documentation (SOPs), and batch performance with cross-functional teams.

I’m a final-year B.Tech Chemical Engineering student with hands-on internship experience in pharmaceutical process safety, scale-up operations, and crystallization control. I use advanced calorimetric and inline instrumentation to turn process risks into clear, actionable decisions for pilot-scale runs.

In my Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories internship, I executed hazard characterisation of 4+ active materials using DSC, TSU, and ARC calorimetry, supporting go/no-go outcomes. I also operated equipment like a nutsche filter, rotary evaporator, ATFD, and 10 L bench reactors, delivering consistent yield reproducibility across multiple batches.

I’m especially effective at monitoring and controlling crystallization—deploying FBRM and PVM inline probes to detect polymorphic transitions early and reduce batch-review cycles. I enjoy presenting technical findings and SOP-aligned documentation to cross-functional teams, backed by competitive analytical communication experience.

Process Safety & Scale-Up Intern

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories

Feb 2025 - Mar 2025 (1 month)

Performed hazard characterization of 4+ API active materials using DSC, TSU, and ARC calorimetry to generate safety data packages for pilot-scale go/no-go decisions. Operated scale-up equipment and used FBRM/PVM inline probes to monitor crystal growth and detect polymorphic transitions, supporting successful 10 L runs across 3 consecutive batches.
