My Smart Helmet for Miners uses Arduino, environmental sensors, and an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to monitor underground conditions and alert miners to hazards.
I also built an Arduino UNO-based firefighting robot that detects fire, moves toward it, and extinguishes it with a water pump. I documented the project in a published article.
For a college-level hackathon, I proposed a sensor-based underground mine safety monitoring and rescue system that cleared the internal round. I also built an IoT-based human safety device for real-time monitoring and emergency alerts.
My other project work includes a footstep energy generation system exploring low-cost renewable power. I trained in PLC programming at Central Tool Room & Training Centre and gained exposure to electrical systems and plant operations at Rourkela Steel Plant.
