What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can educate patients and families on diabetes and endocrine care, support insulin and CGM management using EHR data, and help deliver compliant, patient-centered clinical workflows with flexible scheduling.

I’m an endocrine pharmacist and Diabetes Care & Education Specialist, credentialed as a Registered Pharmacist in Utah and certified as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Since joining Mountain Vista Medicine, I’ve focused on teaching and supporting patients and families managing type 1 diabetes and adrenal insufficiency.

I train patients on continuous glucose monitoring systems (Dexcom and Libre) and help adjust insulin dosing using electronic databases (Clarity, Tandem Source, Glooko). I develop patient-facing teaching materials in line with current endocrine literature and translate lab results into clear guidance for families. I also collect, organize, and write prior authorization/appeal letters to keep drug therapy and medical device access on track.

Earlier in my career, I taught pharmacy-related topics to patients and families with diabetes at Primary Children’s Hospital and mentored pharmacists and students through residency and precepting. I’ve also contributed to oncology literature research at SRI International and I remain committed to lifelong learning, HIPPA compliance, and reliable, organized patient-centered work.
