What I'm looking for

I am seeking a hands-on data engineering role where I can build reliable ETL/streaming pipelines, apply data modeling and automation, work with cross-functional teams, and grow in cloud-based analytics and platform engineering.

I am a Data Engineer with hands-on experience designing and deploying production-style data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Airflow. I focus on building end-to-end ETL workflows, layered data architectures, and Dockerized orchestration to deliver reliable batch and streaming pipelines.

At Kenya Copyright Board I designed and implemented Python-based ETL workflows that automated ingestion and processing of registration records, improved data accuracy, and enabled scheduled reporting for cross-functional decision-making.

My projects include a production-style Sales ETL pipeline (Airflow, Supabase, Docker), a streaming crypto pipeline (Kafka, Spark, PostgreSQL), an NBA analytics platform (dbt, BigQuery, Looker Studio), and a RESTful appointment backend (FastAPI, PostgreSQL). I emphasize idempotent ingestion, modular reusable code, and containerized environments for reproducibility.

I hold a BSc in Computer Science and a project-based Modern Data Engineering certification; I seek roles where I can apply strong data modeling, orchestration, and automation skills to improve analytics reliability and operational efficiency.
