I’m a Software Development Engineer II focused on designing and delivering scalable backend microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. At Verizon, I support mission-critical workflows in a high-traffic production environment and take end-to-end ownership across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

I’ve driven measurable improvements, including reducing critical API latency by ~70% through database query optimization, service refactoring, and efficient request handling. I design and optimize database schemas and complex SQL across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle, and I build reliable data pipelines (including document processing and CSV generation with Apache POI) to enable faster reporting and analytics. I also balance feature delivery with Tier-2 production support (80/20), resolving P1/P2 incidents via root cause analysis, implementing long-term fixes to reduce recurrence, and mentoring junior engineers through code reviews and design guidance.

Previously at Capgemini (Aug 2020–Aug 2023), I developed and maintained Java-based enterprise backend applications, refactored legacy codebases to improve performance and maintainability, and reduced static analysis and security findings by ~75% by addressing SonarQube issues. I’m motivated by practical, goal-driven execution—I document troubleshooting and deployment processes, learn quickly, and bring a collaborative mindset to product, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams.
