Salomé Gutiérrez

I’m a Product Design Engineer with an emphasis on marketing and graphic design, driven by “user-centered design” and the motivation to create solutions that generate a positive impact. The combination of industrial, product, and graphic design has allowed me to develop a unique integral approach to visual identity and strategic brand development, blending creativity with structure to bring ideas to life.

In my work, I develop brands from conceptualization to image design and naming, and I take ownership of layouts, illustration, and brand visuals for local brands and independent clients. I’m especially energized by product ideation—turning a concept into something tangible, consistent, and ready to resonate with people.

Alongside branding, I thoroughly enjoy illustration and have experience tailoring this towards the development of products for education and early childhood. My main goal within this skill is to eventually write and illustrate my own children’s book series.

As a Product Design and Development Intern, I designed and developed packaging for new categories, including Monte Rojo and UAU!, and I supported e-commerce by creating digital assets like banners and mailings. I also created POP materials and retail furniture, bringing marketing touchpoints into a cohesive in-store experience.

I learn continuously and enjoy growing in “design, creativity, and innovation environments.” Alongside design, I’ve led multicultural teamwork through Partners Campus EAFIT committees and served as Sales Director and Human Resources Director, which strengthens my communication, adaptability, and ability to collaborate across people and perspectives.
