At South Eastern Railway, I gained hands-on experience inspecting and precision-machining mechanical components, checking them against engineering drawings and specifications. I also worked with senior engineers on shop-floor quality control practices.

I authored a technical report benchmarking rail wheels and EOT cranes, documenting their working principles and preventive maintenance procedures.

For my Linkage Mechanisms and Its Applications project, I modeled a 3D flapping-wing mechanism in SolidWorks using the Whitworth Quick Return Mechanism. I compared its efficiency with rotor-driven mechanisms and examined historical procurement trends to inform future design recommendations.

I also modeled a Heinrici-type Stirling engine in CAD, defining its geometry and design parameters from first principles and documenting the engineering analysis. I hold a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from K.G. Engineering Institute.
