I am a Process Engineer with a Ph.D. in Process Engineering and hands-on experience applying research to industrial challenges. I specialize in process design, simulation and optimization with a focus on multiphase flow, heat and mass transfer.

At OMV's Downstream R&D I develop PFDs and P&IDs, implement and validate process concepts in Aspen HYSYS, and perform CFD studies to evaluate reactor configurations. I also manage collaborative R&D projects and engage external stakeholders to deliver innovation-driven solutions.

During my Ph.D. and role at Johannes Kepler University Linz I combined CFD (OpenFOAM) and experimental methods (high-speed photography, PIV) to design and build a counter-current three-phase reactor and improve gas holdup and performance. I supervised Bachelor’s and Master’s theses and taught laboratory courses to train future engineers.

I bring proficiency with Aspen HYSYS, OpenFOAM, Ansys Fluent, ChemSep, MATLAB and CAD software, strong communication and teamwork skills, and multilingual fluency in English, German and Persian. I am motivated to bridge research and industry to deliver practical, optimized process solutions.
