Sadia Afzal

I am a dedicated conservation botanist with over three years of experience in biodiversity research and education. Currently, I serve as a Project Officer in the Urban Unit of Lahore, where I conduct extensive research on flora and fauna, focusing on species identification, population dynamics, and habitat assessments. My role involves supporting conservation initiatives aimed at protecting and restoring biodiversity, as well as preparing detailed reports and scientific papers to communicate our findings effectively.

Previously, I worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Cholistan University of Veterinary and Science, where I delivered lectures and conducted laboratory sessions for students. My academic background includes an MPhil in Botany, where I secured the second position and completed significant research on commercial wheat varieties. I have also contributed to various publications in reputable journals, showcasing my commitment to advancing knowledge in the field of botany.
