What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an Accounts Payable role where I can work with accurate ledger processes, resolve supplier queries, and support month-end tasks. I want a detail-focused team that values strong documentation, continuous improvement, and clear ownership of deadlines.

I’m a BA Honours graduate in Accounting and Business Management (2:1) progressing toward full ACCA qualification, with practical exposure to audit work, controls testing, and financial reporting through Goldman Sachs and EY job simulations. I’ve built a strong foundation in accuracy, documentation, and structured review of financial records.

In my simulations, I assessed risk and supported control and substantive testing by reviewing records for completeness, mapping risks of material misstatement to accounts, and preparing clear summaries for senior review. I also reviewed outputs from an accounts analysis tool and escalated issues when needed—habits that directly translate to careful A/P ledger work.

I bring advanced Excel strengths (pivot tables, lookups, and financial functions) and hands-on experience with Xero, alongside a clear focus on resolving queries efficiently and improving processes. I’m now looking to start my finance career as an Accounts Payable Clerk, contributing accuracy, curiosity, and strong deadline discipline.
