What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build and lead complex mobile, web, and enterprise systems where I can apply hands-on development, technical architecture, cloud infrastructure, and practical problem-solving.

I've spent over 30 years designing and developing large enterprise systems, with 15+ years building Android, iOS, and web applications.

At Plenty Of Fish Media, I led the initial development of the pof.com Android and iOS apps and helped keep the site and apps online at more than 7 billion monthly pageviews. In 2023, I was the solo developer for the pof.com iOS and Android app.

At FCV Technologies, I managed a department of 12+ PHP, .NET, and front-end developers while serving as technical lead for major client projects including TransLink and Scotia Rewards.

Through Folstad Consulting, I develop mobile applications, web-based applications, and services. My work spans cloud infrastructure, low-level systems programming, data communications, enterprise integrations, and published mobile apps.
