Ruth Jumbe

I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife with over five years of progressive clinical and leadership experience across emergency, outpatient, ward, and high-dependency settings. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Midwifery from Kamuzu College of Nursing (University of Malawi) and a strong record of supervising staff, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and leading quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

I currently serve as High Dependency Unit Charge Nurse and previously led outpatient, emergency, and general ward nursing teams at Mulanje Mission Hospital, where I oversaw patient care, triage, staff development, and workflow management. I am passionate about emergency response, clinical governance, mentorship, and building operational efficiency while maintaining patient-centered, ethical care.
