I am a senior Subject Matter Expert in chemistry with extensive experience across education, research and quality assurance roles. I have worked with multiple edtech and publishing companies delivering Q&A, textbook content and subject expertise since 2017 and earlier roles in school teaching.

My research and laboratory background includes work as a Research Associate in pharmaceutical and bio-analytical projects, chromatographic analysis of herbal products, isolation of marker compounds and various spectroscopic interpretation tasks. I have hands-on experience with solid phase extraction, column and thin-layer chromatography, LC-MS and protein precipitation techniques.

I have a strong track record of applying analytical techniques to herbal and environmental samples, managing pharmacological dosing and sample handling in preclinical settings, and conducting water, soil and microbiological analyses in industrial projects. I blend practical lab skills with education-focused delivery, having served as a PGT Chemistry and as an SME for multiple education platforms.
