At Marie Stopes International (MSI), I provide MIS, data management, reporting, analysis, and technical support across program areas, currently managing data from 250+ facilities each month. As the primary MIS focal person for the PSS Channel, I support 20+ PSS Specialists and maintain an Excel-based performance dashboard used by staff and senior management.
I developed four reporting templates and led data-cleaning activities for two key datasets to support more consistent, accurate reporting. I also conduct quarterly data quality assessments covering 50%+ of facilities and carry out in-person verification visits.
At Addis Ababa Silk Road General Hospital, I established the HMIS reporting system from the ground up, creating standardized templates and processes across hospital departments. I prepared performance presentations and reports for hospital management and external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health, and developed HMIS policies and SOPs.
At Landmark General Hospital, I coordinated routine HMIS reporting and case-based surveillance, using DHIS2, REDCap, and SmartCare. I also supported health-information data management during my internship at Harar Jinella Health center, working with DHIS2 and SmartCare.
