Contracted via Xseed Solutions to deliver Azure-based AI pilots, including an OCR evaluation approach and a document-type screening workflow for 1M+ annual applications. Built React frontends and owned end-to-end deployment to Azure VM environments while mentoring engineers.

Led product and technical delivery of a 6-month RAG proof-of-concept, translating CTO-level requirements into evaluation benchmarks and Vertex AI infrastructure. Improved RAG-based product deduplication by accelerating Weaviate indexing and optimizing retrieval for higher recall with fewer candidates, while interviewing and mentoring engineers to support production transition.

Built a GenAI card-upgrade sales agent using LangChain and LangGraph, launching a production pilot with 300+ users and improving customer acquisition efficiency. Rescued and optimized a GCP RAG system for bank product Q&A by reducing inference costs and improving accuracy using Datastore search features and prompt engineering.

Implemented embedding-based annotation features for Argilla, contributing substantial production-ready open-source NLP tooling and collaborating on research-to-production workflows. Won international NLP competitions across legal entailment, semantic similarity, and aspect-based sentiment analysis using Transformer-based systems.

Erasmus Mundus double degree master delivered jointly with the University of Malta, studying Language and Communication Technologies. Awarded a full Erasmus Mundus scholarship as one of the top 5% applicants in the 2021 intake.

Bachelor of Computer Science with twice-awarded University Council’s Certificate of Honours for top 1% students, professors, and staff. Completed degree from January 2017 to June 2021.
