Roxana Solórzano

As a passionate biologist, I have dedicated my career to advancing organic agriculture, particularly in the cultivation of Hass avocados and Atlixco cacti. My commitment to environmental care was recognized by the Tacámbaro city council in 2015, where I was honored for my pioneering efforts in promoting sustainable farming practices. I have also played a crucial role in the production of rock flour, a valuable resource for organic farming, and have successfully established a cactus cooperative that empowers local producers through training in organic farming techniques.

In addition to my agricultural endeavors, I have a strong background in education. Since 2016, I have been teaching online courses on Buddhist philosophy to adults at the Budadharma Institute. My experience as a substitute philosophy teacher at the Morelia School Center has further enriched my teaching skills, allowing me to engage with young minds and share my knowledge of organic farming with small-scale farmers. I am dedicated to fostering a sustainable future through education and community collaboration.
