What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that offers hands-on clinical experience and opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.

I am a dedicated medical student at the University of Nairobi, set to graduate with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in December 2024. My academic journey has been marked by excellence, as evidenced by receiving the Hillman Academic Award for my achievements in Paediatrics and Child Health. I have actively engaged in various clinical rotations, where I served as a rotational representative, honing my leadership skills and gaining invaluable insights into patient care.

My professional experience includes an elective placement at Kakamega County Teaching and Referral Hospital, where I gained hands-on experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and management of diverse medical conditions. I had the opportunity to practice key clinical procedures and manage patient workups independently, enhancing my proficiency in clinical decision-making. Additionally, my volunteer experience at The Nairobi IVF Center allowed me to shadow a fertility specialist, further broadening my understanding of patient care in a specialized field.
