I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 4+ years building and maintaining distributed, event-driven backend systems in Python and Django. I’ve independently designed and shipped an end-to-end data-ingestion pipeline—from SFTP authentication and extraction to production sync.
I re-engineer production pipelines that process 400K+ records daily, improving throughput by 30–40% through targeted write-avoidance and workflow redesign. I also design SLA-tiered data-fetch workflows, delivering incremental/latest-data pulls for high-priority clients while standard clients receive full-dataset fetches to reduce unnecessary load and infrastructure cost.
My day-to-day work blends asynchronous task orchestration (Celery/RabbitMQ) with reliable pipeline/workflow architecture backed by PostgreSQL. I’ve built and hardened large-scale web scraping infrastructure using Selenium, CAPTCHA-solving integration, and anti-bot countermeasure handling—while continuously improving performance, debugging production issues, and mentoring junior engineers.
