Forestry researcher advancing silviculture and agroforestry through rigorous ecological data analysis.
What I'm looking for
I’m a dedicated, highly motivated forestry researcher with advanced academic training and hands-on experience in silviculture and agroforestry. I focus on ecological research that informs sustainable forest management and land-use practices.
My Ph.D. work in Silviculture and Agroforestry examined “Impact of small ruminants grazing on floristic composition and soil physico -chemical properties” in the mid Himalayan region of Himachal Pradesh. I also completed an M.Sc. thesis on “Effect of silvicultural felling on natural regeneration of Sal (Shorea robusta),” building strong skills in ecological sampling and regeneration assessment.
In my doctoral and postgraduate research roles at Dr. YSP University, Himachal Pradesh, I conducted extensive fieldwork, analyzed soil physico -chemical parameters under different grazing intensities, and documented/classified floristic composition using ecological sampling techniques. I used SPSS for statistical evaluation of ecological data and ensured findings were captured in clear technical reporting.
I bring strong communication and execution through tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with disciplined scientific reporting. I’m driven by leadership, active listening, problem solving, and time management—so my research translates into practical, defensible insights for forest ecosystems.
