Rohit Gupta

I’m a Computer Science graduate with industry experience in AI engineering, machine learning, and data analytics through Viasat India and IIT Gandhinagar, plus a first-author IEEE publication in deep learning.

I design production-style LLM applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, multi-agent AI systems, and scalable backend APIs. I focus on building modular, extensible systems that translate models into reliable products.

In my Viasat India Software Engineering Intern role, I architected an end-to-end analytics pipeline integrating 5+ heterogeneous data sources into a unified customer dataset, and built Tableau dashboards adopted by business stakeholders for self-serve outreach decisions.

On the AI side, I’ve developed multi-agent and RAG solutions such as InsightFlow AI and a Personalized AI Assistant with a modular ingestion pipeline, semantic chunking, retrieval re-ranking, and vector databases like FAISS and Pinecone. My research work includes an Xception-based deep learning approach with attention mechanisms for COVID image classification, published as first author at an IEEE conference.
