I’m looking for an accountant or auditor role where I can apply bank reconciliations, VAT/withholding schedules, and payment controls, grow with a forward-thinking team, and deliver accurate financial records and timely reporting.

I’m a detail-oriented finance professional with experience supporting treasury and accounting functions, from confirming client payments to maintaining accurate records through reconciliations. I focus on accuracy, compliance, and strong internal control habits.

At KPMG Professional Services (NYSC intern), I confirmed client payments against bank statements, matched invoices to posting codes, and prepared monthly VAT schedules. I also updated receivables and AR listings, reversed wrong or double postings, and supported month-end processes like write-offs and drafting unclaimed inflows.

Before that, I worked as a Treasury Officer (trainee) at the University of Ibadan, documenting and issuing receipts and reconciling bank statements to identify discrepancies. I processed payments using the Remita platform, validated payment vouchers, created mandate numbers, and helped ensure management approval workflows followed organizational standards.
