At Urban Systems SpA, I conceived, built, and deployed WYvet and WYpet, a live platform for municipal pet registration. WYvet serves municipalities, while WYpet is a public app for residents.
I built both React single-page apps and their shared Django REST backend with a PostgreSQL database. I deployed the front ends to AWS S3 and CloudFront, and the backend to Render.
I integrated Google Gemini for vaccination-card OCR and an AI assistant, along with Leaflet maps, Cloudinary media storage, transactional email, and PDF generation. I also developed a native Android app with Capacitor.
Before this work, I spent over eight years in hospitality operations and customer service, including supervision, night audit, and dispatch. I work in English and Spanish.
