I’m an economist, data analyst, and data scientist, with more than eight years applying advanced regression, clustering, machine learning and forecasting to real-world problems, working daily with R, Python, SQL and Power BI, among other tools. I have designed and implemented quantitative methodologies with real impact on Compromisos de Desempeño, a results-based financing program in Peru's education sector covering more than 250 institutions, where I have been responsible for allocating more than US$140 million over six years. I have developed forecasting models to project the expected performance of the institutions evaluated, modeled student performance on standardized tests using hierarchical regression and machine learning, and applied clustering to set differentiated targets by group, all supported by solid foundations that let me use these tools with technical rigor and efficiency.
