Rodrigo Carvalho

At NTT DATA PORTUGAL, I’m part of the Cybersecurity “Security By Design” team, working in a DevSecOps environment for a banking client to address security issues and concerns. I help ensure application security using GitHub Advanced Security and SonarQube.

At Instituto Superior Técnico, I was team leader of groups creating and maintaining network infrastructures with security measures. We set up IDS systems and firewall rules, and used Wireshark and Nmap to support network security.

I’ve pursued cybersecurity learning through an Ethical Hacking course on the EC-Council website, security lab-style websites, and a Google professional certificate in cybersecurity on Coursera. I also have a forensics cybersecurity project and am studying for penetration-testing certifications.

I enjoy learning and tackling puzzles, and I’m keen to grow my technical and interpersonal skills. I’d like to make a relevant impact in a competitive organization.
