I'm currently migrating on-premises web, middle-tier, and database servers to AWS Cloud at Modest Technologies Solution. I configure AMIs and EC2 instances, secure VPCs and S3 resources, and administer ELB and Amazon Elasticsearch Service.

I automate patching, remediation, provisioning, and deployment work with Ansible, Puppet, bootstrap scripts, and Linux AMIs. I also scan for vulnerabilities with Nessus and Qualys, manage firewall rules and DNS requests, and support DEV, UAT, and production Linux environments through Jira.

Previously at Advanced Solar, I built AWS infrastructure across VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, DynamoDB, SES, SQS, SNS, Auto Scaling, and Elastic Load Balancing. I created CloudFormation JSON templates, supported code deployments, hardened Red Hat Linux systems, and tuned systems for Oracle installations.

My earlier Linux administration and systems support work included VMware virtual machines, Apache/Tomcat, LVM, RAID, backups, disaster recovery testing, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and end-user support. I bring hands-on experience keeping systems available, secure, patched, and ready for production needs.
