What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own scalable ETL and streaming pipelines end-to-end—using Spark, Azure (ADF/Databricks), Kafka, and Airflow—while collaborating closely on data modeling and performance improvements.

I’m a Data Engineer who enjoys turning complex, messy inputs into reliable, scalable pipelines. I specialize in ETL development with Apache Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL) and cloud-native orchestration across Azure.

In my current role as a Senior Associate Data Engineer at Publicis Sapient, I developed and maintained ETL pipelines for the RxExtracts platform for Optum—integrating backend notebook workflows with Azure Data Factory for configurable scheduling and automated execution. I also optimized pipeline efficiency, reducing execution time by 30%, and contributed to data modeling improvements with the Architecture team.

Previously, as an SDE-II at Agati Clinical Informatics, I designed transformation pipelines to convert non-standard clinical datasets into standardized CDISC SDTM formats. I also supported scalable services by developing backend APIs using C#.NET, implemented Redis caching to reduce query latency, and delivered reporting-focused SQL transformations.

Earlier in my career, I built and deployed interactive web experiences as a Junior Web Developer at Indegene, including eDetail presentations and email marketing campaigns. I also served as an Assistant Professor, leading development for a university website and internal applications while collaborating on data-driven research initiatives.
