Rinday Barrett
@rindaybarrett
Compassionate small-animal veterinarian blending TCVM acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for whole-patient healing.
What I'm looking for
I’m a veterinarian focused on small-animal care, with a strong commitment to compassionate medicine and practical, whole-patient treatment plans. My training includes a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, plus certification through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.
In relief and part-time associate roles, I’ve provided diagnostics, treatment of complex cases, and preventive care in busy small-animal practices. I also complete house call visits that support acupuncture, hospice care, and end-of-life decisions with empathy and clarity.
Beyond standard veterinary services, my practice emphasizes traditional Chinese/holistic veterinary medicine. I work with acupuncture (including electro-stimulation) and Chinese herbal medicine, and I support long-term outcomes through nutrition, weight-loss, and weight-management programs.
Clinically, I bring hands-on surgical experience such as canine/feline neuters, teeth extractions, gingival suture repair, and laceration repair with Penrose drain placement, along with some spay experience. I’m energized by continuing education and serving as a steady, patient-focused clinician for families and their beloved pets.
