Completed internal and external fourth-year rotations focused on emergency medicine and community outreach, providing pro-bono surgeries in remote Labrador communities and developing FAST ultrasound and anesthesia skills.

Conducted literature review on laparoscopic simulator training and created a database of laparoscopic instrument movement metrics using motion-tracking software to compare human and veterinary training modalities.

Performed routine and non-routine surgical procedures and managed daily urgent and emergency cases including urethral obstructions and acute trauma while overseeing patient treatment and recovery.

Provided routine and emergency small animal care including cystotomies, mass removals, and pyometra surgeries while managing wellness and urgent walk-in caseloads and delivering client education on preventative and chronic disease care.

Managed emergency triage and stabilization for 15–20 cases per shift, performed emergency procedures such as wound repair and urinary obstructions, and oversaw ICU case management and interdepartmental transfers.

Activities and societies: Clinical rotations including emergency medicine and a fourth-year Chinook Project providing pro-bono care; summer research assistantship on laparoscopic simulator metrics.

Completed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with consistent Dean's List recognition and received Hill's Pet Nutrition Transforming Lives Award in 2023.
