Rim Tafech

I am a computer scientist with hands-on experience building scalable AI and data-driven systems, currently pursuing a Master in Big Data & Artificial Intelligence in Berlin. I combine academic training with practical internship experience delivering production-ready components.

During an application architect internship I developed an alert management system using microservices, improved scalability via publish-subscribe and middleware patterns, and optimized PostgreSQL performance to reduce retrieval time. I enjoy tackling performance and reliability challenges.

My projects include real-time face-mask detection with YOLOv3, an automated car plate recognition system using TensorFlow, and an AI Telegram assistant built with Hugging Face models and Python. I work across the ML lifecycle from preprocessing and modelling to visualization and deployment.

I bring technical proficiency in Python, R, PostgreSQL, data visualization, and machine learning, along with collaborative experience in Agile teams and project planning. I seek opportunities where I can apply scalable ML and data engineering skills to build impactful products.
