What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver client-centered social work using evidence-based practice, strong case management, and community engagement—supported by solid MEAL and project management. I value collaboration, clear communication, and measurable impact.

I’m a dedicated, results-oriented Social Worker with 3+ years of experience in promoting diversity, professionalism, and client-centered practice. I’m committed to evidence-based practice and delivering high-impact results that truly improve outcomes for the people I serve.

In my current volunteer role as a Community Champion with Ladder to Learning, I facilitate 20+ beneficiaries learning English and numeracy per day. I’ve conducted extracurricular activities, followed up on learner progress, and achieved 80%+ transition rates to upper literacy levels while creating an inclusive, participative learning environment.

Previously, as a Social Welfare Assistant (Internee) with the Lilongwe District social Welfare Office, I conducted client interviews and needs assessments, documented client information and profiles, and ensured effective case follow-up to support successful implementation of alternative solutions. I also facilitated 5+ sessions on positive parenting within a week and managed data collection and data entry of Children’s corners using KoboCollr.

My school placements further strengthened my community and protection focus. At the Nkhotakota Social Welfare Office, I collaborated with CBCCs and CBOs, facilitated monitoring and supervision of community programs, and helped revitalize a local youth club. At the Nsanje District Social Welfare, I supported community sensitization on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), provided counselling and psychosocial support (including at the One Stop Center), and consistently followed up to assess the impact of interventions.
