What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role that blends UI/UX with practical front-end building—where I can use Figma design systems, improve performance, and collaborate across teams. I’m open to remote or on-site work in Pretoria.

I’m a creative and technically versatile UI/UX designer with hands-on experience spanning UI/UX design, graphic design, front-end development, and digital administration. I build developer-ready Figma systems and translate them into responsive, performance-minded web interfaces.

At ZimmerSoftware (Vienna, remote), I designed a complete hotel property management system in Figma, led a redesign modernising 90% of the product interface, and built front-end interfaces in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that achieved a 55% reduction in load times and 100% customer satisfaction. I also produced branded marketing assets, social content, and internal communications while managing digital asset organisation, reporting, and cross-team coordination.

My work is user-centered and measurable: I audit and refactor CSS with Browser DevTools, apply design tokens and reusable component libraries for smoother handoffs, and ensure clear UI copy across English, Afrikaans, and German. I’m currently completing the Google UX Design Professional Certificate (expected May 2026) and I’m excited to keep combining design craft with practical front-end outcomes.
