What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can build production-ready predictive models and statistical methods, especially with Bayesian statistics and Gaussian processes, while working collaboratively on real-world data and maintaining reproducible, well-validated analysis.

I’m a Data Scientist and statistical graduate student at The Ohio State University, where I serve as a Statistical Consultant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. I advise 16+ graduate researchers and lead recitation and mentoring for 40–50 students per section on statistical inference, regression modeling, and applied data analysis.

Previously, as a Data Scientist, Predictive Analytics at Robi Axiata Limited (Axiata Group Berhad), I developed predictive machine learning solutions for credit risk scoring, customer analytics, churn prediction, recommendations, and network traffic forecasting. I also built a segmentation pipeline for 70M+ subscribers and implemented a PySpark churn model that reduced monthly churn from 3.0% to 2.8% while retaining 30K customers over three years.

My work is driven by combining rigorous statistical modeling with scalable ML pipelines, with a strong focus on Bayesian statistics and Gaussian processes. Ongoing research includes Gaussian process-based online learning for expensive evaluation and GP-UCB for black-box optimization, alongside deep learning approaches such as Neural Network Gaussian Processes.
