Refiloe Makume

I am a motivated Health Information Management graduate with hands-on experience in data management, community health programs, and NGO fieldwork. I combine technical data skills with strong interpersonal communication to translate information into actionable improvements.

In my roles I have collected, validated and reported program data, managed patient records, and supported monitoring activities using paper and digital systems. I am familiar with SPSS and Stata at a basic level and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive health information.

I have delivered peer health education on HIV, mental health, and wellness, providing one-on-one support and facilitating group sessions that increased awareness and engagement. I contributed to questionnaire piloting and improved data collection reliability in field settings.

I am committed to professional, ethical data practices and continuous learning, currently pursuing courses in presenting data, information security, and modern database systems to expand my technical capabilities and enhance program impact.
