I've modernized benzene fenceline monitoring data collection and reporting for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as part of Clean Air Act regulation.

At the Colorado Department of Revenue's Marijuana Enforcement Division, I delivered analysis and public-facing reports, built and enhanced scripts as data sources and regulations changed, and supported cloud-based PostgreSQL database performance and uptime. I automated production increase application analysis by 200% and designed a risk-based project to identify potential marijuana testing non-compliance and reduce potential health risks.

At Colorado State University's Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory, I transformed spatial and temporal data in R, performed geospatial QA/QC, and created reports and visualizations for research decision-making. I also produced geospatial technology training materials and partnered with local, state, and federal agencies.

My NASA DEVELOP work used Google Earth Engine, GIS, and remote sensing to improve habitat suitability modeling and assess agricultural drought severity in Ethiopia. I'm fluent in English and Amharic and bring technical writing experience to complex data projects.
