Rebeca Ortiz
@rebecaortiz
I build Python backend applications and data pipelines, bringing mathematical engineering to space-sector challenges.
What I'm looking for
At Accenture in Madrid, I build backend applications in Python, SQL, and Flask on Google App Engine. I also design and maintain relational databases and data-processing pipelines.
I've implemented unit and functional testing, migrated data from Excel to SQL databases, and created technical documentation for software systems and APIs.
I lead end-to-end software projects through requirements analysis, task planning, team coordination, and client communication. I also supported an international expansion project in Mexico, onboarding development teams and delivering training on standards and best practices.
My Mathematical Engineering background includes astronomy and geodesy, and my thesis focused on optimizing orbital transfers between satellite orbits. I'm motivated to apply my programming and mathematical skills to satellite and flight dynamics missions.
