What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can grow my legal skills and also use my customer service strengths—working with a supportive team, handling responsibilities confidently, and continuously improving through feedback and development.

I’m a Law undergraduate building a future career in law while strengthening the skills that make me effective in any client-facing role. I combine strong communication and analytical skills with reliable, supportive service, proven through my work experience alongside my academic work.

At Poundstretcher, where I’ve been employed for over two years, I work as a floor staff member and till operator, providing friendly, helpful customer service and building rapport quickly with regular customers. I operate tills accurately and handle transactions confidently, while also working efficiently as part of a team and restocking to store standards. Customers and colleagues know me as kind, approachable, and supportive, and I’ve developed strong communication, problem solving, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Academically, I’ve achieved an A in my EPQ, demonstrating advanced research and writing ability. Through my LLB studies, I’m further developing legal skills including mooting, critical thinking, and confident public speaking—so I can contribute responsibly, learn quickly, and grow into a strong legal professional.
