What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where safety and clear communication matter every day. I want hands-on experience supporting children while continuing to build toward pre-health learning, infection-control awareness, and patient-minded care.

I’m a Health Sciences student at The Ohio State University and a certified lifeguard who thrives in fast-paced, safety-critical environments. I bring a strong foundation in health promotion and a calm, attentive approach to protecting children ages 3–14 around pool facilities.

In my lifeguard role at Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds, I monitored safety, responded to emergencies, and enforced safety protocols. I learned how to stay vigilant while communicating clearly and quickly with others when situations change.

As a Swim Instructor at Goldfish Swim School, I taught swim skills to children aged 4 months–12 years and designed engaging lessons to build water safety and confidence. I also focused on building rapport with parents and young learners, balancing structure with encouragement.

Through my shadowing experience at Massapequa Imaging (affiliate of Northwell Health), I observed ultrasound procedures and gained insight into image acquisition techniques, patient positioning, and infection control practices. I’m motivated by compassionate patient care and want to keep growing toward a pre-health career grounded in safety, professionalism, and effective communication.
