Rashel Harkrider

I’m a passionate and creative elementary educator with a foundation in child-centered learning and classroom management. I recently completed my bachelor’s degree and I’m currently pursuing DESE licensure, with certification to teach 1st–6th grade.

I focus on fostering creativity, self-expression, and confidence while supporting the academic and social development of all students. In my roles supporting classrooms, I help maintain classroom order, supervise students at lunch, recess, and nap, and prepare materials/equipment needed for lessons.

As an early childhood educator in a movement-based preschool program, I integrate art, sensory play, and movement to support early literacy, foundational math skills, and social-emotional development. I’m a flexible, dependable collaborator who naturally steps into leadership, builds positive relationships with students and families, and supports school-wide initiatives.
