At Premier Tobacco Packers, I purchased approximately 20.7 lakh kg of FCV tobacco across four seasons on the Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka auction platforms.
I held an independent auction platform for four consecutive seasons, buying daily lots against company grade requirements and allotted price bands. I assess style and soil type, colour, body, leaf maturity and moisture when grading and bidding.
I manage two godowns and track stock, dispatch and grading records. I also control moisture and NTRM at bale level and coordinate auction records and platform requirements with Tobacco Board officials.
My work includes grading across SBS and SLS platforms and training newly joined buyers on grade standards and floor practice. I also have experience in tobacco cultivation and IPM, supported by a B.Sc. in Agriculture and an MBA in International Business.
