Raquel Caminero

I’m a designer with a degree in Visual Design of Interactive Digital Content, with a background that combines graphic design, digital media, illustration and interactive content. Throughout my studies and professional experience, I’ve developed a broad range of skills that allow me to work across different types of creative projects.

I worked for around a year and a half as a Junior Designer at Stor SL, where I was involved in product and packaging design, illustrations, company communications, posters and other visual materials. During this time, I had the opportunity to work on projects connected to well-known brands such as Disney, Marvel, Minions, LOL Dolls and Fortnite, including the creation of original illustrations and merchandising products. I also have freelance experience, particularly creating advertising and communication materials for a dental clinic.

My technical background is quite varied. I have extensive experience with Adobe software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Acrobat Pro and Media Encoder, as well as experience with 3D tools such as Maya, ZBrush, 3ds Max and Cinema 4D. My degree also gave me experience with programming and interactive content using technologies such as C++ and Java. One of my main academic projects was creating a visual novel from scratch, combining illustration, writing, dialogue, programming and interactive design.

I’m particularly interested in digital design, videogames, visual communication, illustration and creative technology. I enjoy learning new software and figuring out how different tools can be combined to solve creative problems. I’m also very comfortable working across different areas of design rather than limiting myself to one specific discipline.

At this stage of my career, I’m looking for a junior, trainee or entry-level opportunity where I can continue developing my skills, learn from an experienced team and contribute creatively to real projects. I’m especially interested in remote or hybrid opportunities and in companies where there is room to learn and grow professionally.
