Ram Kumar

I am a Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Manager with over 15 years of experience designing, developing, and managing large-scale enterprise applications. My career has been built around the .NET ecosystem, where I have consistently delivered high-performance backend systems, optimized databases, and contributed to major architecture decisions for global platforms.

I specialize in C#, ASP.NET (Web API, MVC, WCF), SQL Server, and enterprise system design, with strong experience across the full SDLC — from requirement analysis to deployment and production support. Over the years, I have led engineering teams, carried out code reviews, improved system performance, and mentored developers toward best engineering practices.

Most recently, I have served as an Engineering Manager at Vanilla Transtechnor Pvt. Ltd. (2025), where I led teams, guided architectural choices, and ensured smooth delivery of complex software modules.

Before that, I spent nine years at Merchantrade Asia in Malaysia as a Software Engineer, contributing heavily to the MIRS Global Remittance System, a mission-critical financial platform. My work spanned database design, backend engineering, production support, and feature enhancements for high-volume transactional systems.

Earlier in my career (2011–2016), I worked as a Technical Lead/Analyst at SPI Nepal, where I led multiple teams and delivered major projects such as TFO, Plenti, and MCAT for international clients, focusing on scalable architecture and quality code delivery.

I also have experience in government, finance, and retail domains, having worked on projects like:

I hold multiple Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCAD, MCT, MCSD) and received a SPOT Award at SPI Nepal in recognition of performance and contribution.
