Designed and implemented performance-efficient Java Spark solutions to address small files issues, migrated 20 TB of data, and developed custom Tableau tools using HyperAPI. Acted as SME for Spark, Impala, Hive, and Starburst, and integrated EEMS entitlements into reporting workflows.
Built data platforms in AWS (EMR, Glue, Redshift, Athena) and developed PySpark pipelines for manufacturing data. Managed cluster sizing and performance tuning for Hortonworks, Cloudera, and IBM Big Insights, and worked on Redshift and Snowflake POCs.
