I am an IT and cybersecurity professional with experience in enterprise networking, endpoint engineering, infrastructure modernization, and security operations. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, specializing in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity, from Capella University, where I graduated with a 3.81 GPA. I am CompTIA Security+ certified and continue to develop my skills through hands-on labs and additional certification studies.
My technical experience includes Cisco and Juniper networking, switching, VLANs, wireless infrastructure, network troubleshooting, endpoint provisioning, security tools, and identity technologies. At Norfolk State University, I helped replace more than 100 Cisco Catalyst 2960 switches with Catalyst 9300 switches in under six months, supported over 40 switch stacks, sanitized and decommissioned more than 200 switches, and contributed to wireless modernization and telecommunications deployments. Previously, at Barry Solutions Group, I supported network and endpoint infrastructure and contributed to an SD-WAN refresh spanning 73 Pennsylvania House of Representatives sites.
In my current healthcare IT role with Sentara Health, I work with enterprise endpoint provisioning, deployment task sequences, secure asset handling, BitLocker verification, and hardware, software, and identity-related incident troubleshooting. This experience has strengthened my interest in healthcare cybersecurity, endpoint protection, identity security, and protecting sensitive information.
