What I'm looking for

Seeking a fully remote Technical Lead, Senior Backend Engineer, or hands-on engineering leadership role. Interested in enterprise software, platform modernization, P&C Insurance, and AI-augmented engineering. I value technically challenging work, distributed teams, and organizations that trust experienced engineers to make practical technical decisions.

I’m a Technical Lead and Backend Engineer with 18+ years of experience building, modernizing, and stabilizing enterprise software. My core expertise is in .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, REST APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and enterprise integrations.

For the past several years, I’ve focused on P&C Insurance platforms, taking ownership of complex vendor-built systems, insurance integrations, production reliability, performance, and incremental modernization. I enjoy solving difficult backend and architecture problems, especially where a practical solution is more valuable than a complete rewrite.

I’m also increasingly interested in AI-assisted software engineering. I use tools such as Claude Code to accelerate development and modernization while keeping engineering quality and maintainability at the center.

I work comfortably with distributed teams and US and European stakeholders, and I enjoy roles where I can remain hands-on while providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and contributing to architecture and delivery decisions.

I’m particularly interested in remote opportunities involving backend engineering, technical leadership, enterprise modernization, AI-augmented engineering, and complex business platforms.
